Ken Lachine — President and Founder
Ken Lachine is the founder and President of KMR, a well-regarded boutique search firm. Ken has been a leader in the recruitment industry for over 30 years. He is a leading expert on the processes involved in finding talent that fits the varied and individualistic needs of each company he works with. His proven practices and trademarked process have allowed him to develop an outstanding reputation in the recruitment of C-Suite positions in a range of industries.
Ken has a wide range of expertise and was the founder and President Next Millennium Inc (NMI). Founded in 1997, this successful company was purchased by a major software vendor in 2001.
Ken is also senior business developer and advisor for EMZ2, a cloud based provider of sales training software. EMZ2 has developed a revolutionary approach to helping people learn, retain, and apply real life skills using online training modules.
Ken has a business and technology diploma from Ryerson University.

Mike Lothian — Senior Vice President
A leader in Sales / Business Development, Mike is a key part of the KMR team. He brings with him a comprehensive understanding of the complex world of Technology vendors. Mike has a wealth of experience working with IT venders in the areas of business software, services and hardware delivery.
Mike’s past experience includes delivery revenue for major technology vendors (HP, IBM, Unisys, Oracle Fico and Infor). He attributes part of his success, to the quality team that he was able to assemble, coach and mentor.
Historically, Mike has focused on three main market segments:
- Manufacturing/industrial sector
- Public Sector
- Healthcare (payer and provider) in Canada and the US

Murray Bergin — Vice President, Australia, Asia-Pacific
Murray has over thirty five years’ experience in leading, coaching & mentoring Executives and Senior Managers in the IT&T industry in Asia Pacific, North America, Europe & Australia. Murray is a Change Agent, and a motivator of Managers across Sales, Marketing and Operational teams.
For the past ten years, Murray has established and led consultancy and service based organizations focused on software development and delivery in mobile applications, utilizing smartphone architectures.
At Dexterra (US based supplier, mobile business software, mobile SAAS technologies), Murray was Senior Director, responsible for worldwide Telecommunications programs in; EMEA, UK, Germany, Spain and Italy. Telstra (Australia), & Vodafone (EMEA) were major partners in the program.
At Telstra (Australia), Murray was responsibility for the Mobile Market for Enterprise, Government, and SME market. Telstra had significant growth in these mobile markets, voice services, Wireless Data services, and the launch on Tesltra’s network of the Blackberry service.
Murray was Senior Director of Professional Services, for Unisys Australia & New Zealand. This division achieved significant business growth and profitability in Systems Integration, Outsourcing Services and Consulting Services.
Murray has been with Peat Marwick and Partners and Canada Systems Group in Canada Murray’s initial exposure to IT&T was with IBM in Canada.
Murray holds an Economics Degree from Sydney University, completed the Wharton Business Schools Executive Management Program, the Harvard Business School Executive Negotiation Program and the Executive Coaching Certification program with the IEC.
